Betty S. Farrell
     
OROFINO, Idaho - May 29 - Funeral of Betty S. Farrell, 68, Orofino, who died Wednesday at the hospital here, were scheduled this afternoon at 2 from the Methodist church, with the Rev. Wiliam Strance officiating and burial following in Weseman cemetery, Gilbert's in charge.
     
Mrs. Farrell, born July 27, 1890, at Niobrara, Neb., came with her parents to Orofino in 1895, traveling in a covered wagon. She married Amos Snyder in 1906 and they farmed for many years on Upper Fords creek. They were divorced in 1929.
     
She married John Farrell at Asotin in 1936. After he died in 1945, she lived with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Manfull. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Gleason, Orofino; two sons, Leonard Snyder, Kamiah, Idaho, and Alfred Snyder, Orofino; two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Ladd both of Orofino; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
